LQ: Can I get quicker at finding information online by using keywords?

  • Log in and go to j2e “my files”
    • Find your Fetch! document – see if I have left you
      • a conversation in j2e myfiles
      • a comment on the Fetch page
  • Continue with the task.  Remember speed is part of this task so work as QUICKLY as you can!
  • When you have finished, can you work out how to hand it in on Google Classroom?

Poster task

Create a poster of a growth mindset saying in the style of…,

Success criteria

  • Takes up whole A4 page (view at 50%)
  • Different colours (** a colour scheme)
  • Different fonts (** a few carefully chosen fonts)
  • Rectangle shape (use the rectangle tool to help line it up)
  • Usually 2 or 3 words per line
  • Key words emphasised eg only one on a line
  • Include the author (small, bottom right)

  2. Watch a short demonstration of j2e tools – maybe you can have a go at some of them at home.

  2. Click on “My files”
  3. Click on “Shared files”
  4. Click on the “calligrams” file to open it
  5. Click save
  6. Use the tools in j2e5 to make the words come alive
  7. Try out as many tools as you can – BE CURIOUS
  8. Do some of your own words and ideas if you have time
